With our fellow Baptists, we share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Shenandoah Valley, the Virginia Commonwealth and throughout the world through diverse missions and outreach programs.  

Youth Ministries and Missions

Loving Service
Chairperson: Jean Robinson
Our Loving Service group provides acts of loving encouragement, comfort and sympathy for the distressed in our church and community. They meet the third Monday of each month.

FISH of Clarke County
We join an ecumenical band of Clarke County residents to minister to the troubled and needy in our area. Our support includes collecting for the FISH Food Bank and running the Clothing Bank each Saturday in October.  

Community Missions
Teams of five to seven people from our church prepare and serve brunch at the Salvation Army in Winchester on the fourth Saturday of each month. Other churches from the area provide Saturday brunches the rest of each month.

Rice Bowls
Sponsored by our Sunday School, the Rice Bowl program turns loose change and dollar bills into food for the hungry in the name of Christ and teaches our children the value of giving to those in need.

Holiday Food and Gift Baskets
We collect and deliver food and gifts for those less fortunate in our area at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

State/National Program Support
Our congregation supports the missions efforts of the Shenandoah Baptist Association, the Baptist General Association of Virginia and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. For more information or to participate in any of these programs, please contact the program leader or call the church office.
