Make a joyful noise unto the Lord,
all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness;
come before his presence with singing.

Berryville Baptist offers a range of music worship that reaches out to different musical tastes.
From September to June, our adult choir, directed by Dorothy Price, sings praises to the Lord in an anthem each week and leads the congregation in hymn singing during the 11 AM service. During the summer months, we enjoy a different musical anthem each week, often enjoying the musical talents of congregants and community neighbors.
About once a month, our “Voices in Brass” handbell choir rings to the glory of God during the 11 AM service. This choir, led by Nancy Snyder, rings four octaves of Schulmerich bells and three octaves of Schulmerich hand chimes.
Our beautiful Möller 2 manual pipe organ graces the 11 AM service with full and glorious tones. Its 68 pipes adorn the front of the sanctuary.
Within our music department, we
sing and play the praises of our Lord,
worship through music and song, and
build friendships and a sense of working together.
Special music-centered worships
In any month with five Sundays, the music department hosts a special Festival Sunday that offers a joyous music-centered service.
In addition, in December, they present a music-filled worship devoted to the birth of Christ, often presented as a Cantata.
Several times throughout the year, the church sponsors concerts, hymn sings, caroling and other music-centered activities for all ages.
Special note: our 9 AM service is a prayer service and contains no music worship.
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
